  The Circular on the average wages and the wage increasing rates of the workers’ in shanghai municipality， as well as the workers’ in the State-Owned-Enterprise (SOEs) of shanghai in 2003 are respectively as follows,

  1 The 2003 annual average wage of workers in Shanghai municipality is RMB 22,160, with the Monthly wage RMB 1,847, which has increased by 13.8% than that in the previous year.

  2 The 2003 annual average wage of workers in the Shanghai State-Owned-Enterprises is RMB 19,612, with the monthly wage RMB 1,634, which has increased 14.4% than that in the previous year.

  Calculations related to workers’ average wage, 2003 in Shanghai Municipality or 2003 average wage of workers in the Shanghai State-Owned-Enterprises shall refer to this Circular.
