The circular on workers’ average wage in Shanghai municipality and the average wage and wage increasing rate of the State-Owned-Enterprise workers in 2001 as follows,
1 The 2001 annual average wage of workers in Shanghai municipality is RMB 17,764, with the Monthly wage RMB 1480, which has increased by 15.2% than that in the previous year. The annual average wage for workers on-the-job is RMB 21,781, with monthly wage RMB 1815, increasing by 17.5% than that in the previous year;
2 The 2001 annual average wage of workers in the Shanghai State-Owned-Enterprises is RMB 15,472, with monthly wage RMB1289, which has increased 11.7% than that in the previous year; and the annual average wage for the State-Owned-Enterprises workers on-the-job is RMB 21,074, with monthly wage RMB 1756, increasing by 17.6% than that in the previous year;
Calculations related to 2001 workers’ average wage in Shanghai Municipality or 2001 average wage of workers in the Shanghai State-Owned-Enterprises shall refer to this Circular.
